Dennis Leroy Edgin, 65, of Batesville passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020.
He was born November 10, 1954 in Leachville, Arkansas to Junior Leroy Edgin and Ina Bell ''Jo'' (Foster) Edgin.
Dennis was pastor of Pool's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Batesville; he was a Master Mason as well as a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
Survivors include his mother, Jo Edgin; his loving wife, Debra Anne (Allen) Edgin of the home; three sons, Jeromy K. Edgin (Cindy) of Cabot, Jonathan L. Edgin (Tami) of Batesville, and Jason M. Edgin of Batesville; ten grandchildren, Lance D. Edgin, Keith G. Edgin, Alyssa R. Cohen, Brandon M. Cohen, Christian B. Edgin (Heather), Carmin T. Edgin, Celsi H. Edgin, Cadin L. Edgin, Zachary M. Edgin, and Zoe P. Edgin; two great grandchildren, Sebastian L. Edgin and Scarlet R. Edgin.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Edgin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Allen, Ladell Light, Dwayne Goforth, Dennis Ward, Keith DeLoach, Billy Foster, and Jimmy Reddock.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at First Free Will Baptist of Batesville with Bro. Bobby Shepherd and Jonathan Edgin officiating. Arrangements were handled by Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
In compliance with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines indoor service attendance will be limited and signs will be posted at the church. Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.

So sorry for your loss! Dennis touched so many lives in his life. Y'all helped so many of us raise our little ones and always showed us love!

Dennis was one of the first people I was introduced to when my family moved here from Wichita in 1973. We quickly became lifelong friends and our lives paralleled in so many ways. I will miss him like a brother. Love you all.
I did not know Dennis except thru face book. I grew up with Jo and Leroy in Leachville,Ar.. Old friends. So sorry to hear of Dennis passing. My prayer go out for the family. God loves you all.

Debbie and boys: I am so, so sorry to hear about Dennis. I absolutely loved him. My best memories growing up were with you guys and our youth group. My heart is broken. I last saw him at my uncle's funeral and then talked to him a few month's after that when he was checking in on my momma. My heart is broken for each of you. There are no words. Please know I am here if I can do anything for any of you. I will not be able to make the service, but will watch online after. I love you all and I am praying for you in the days and weeks ahead.

WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR THIS, I SPOKE WITH DENNIS LAST WEEK ON FB AND HE TOLD ME HE HAD TO STOP PREACHING BECAUSE OF HIS HEALTH. HE IS NOW IN A BETTER PLACE. THE PAIN AND SORROW GIVES WAY TO VICTORY.
