Birdie Etoy Brewer, 93, of Osceola, formerly of Wilson, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020. She was born December 25, 1926 in Greenville, MS and was a member of First Baptist Church in Wilson. Survivors include her sons: Steve Brewer and wife Diane of Smyrna, TN and Gary Brewer and wife Kayci of Murfreesboro, TN; 2 grandchildren: Alex Brewer and Emery Carlton II; 5 great grandchildren; and son-in-law: Emery Carlton. She is preceded in death by her husband Howard L. Brewer; her parents; and daughter: Charlotte Carlton. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 6, 2020 at Bassett Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola.

Aunt Etoy has been ready to go home for a long time, she loved to talk about God, going home, singing. She loved to sing I'll fly away, she is home wiyh Jesus, uncle Hoard, Charlotte and all the family.

Praying for Birdie’s family. I started knowing her when my Mom was in the nursing home. She was a sweet woman. They are at the same table a lot.
