Richard M. Clark, Jr. 91 of Salem, Arkansas formerly of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Richard was born on September 3, 1929 to the late Richard Clark, Sr. and Hattie (Webb) Clark. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army and served his county proudly during the Korean War. Richard retired as a machinist in the cotton mill industry and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends. Richard is survived by two sons, Richard M. Clark III and wife Susan and Roger D. Clark; one brother, C.R. Clark and wife Lee; one sister, Verla Jean Forth and husband Garrell; one granddaughter, Lacie Pharis; four great-grandchildren, Ashley Pope and husband Sam, Haley Pharis, Charles Pharis, and Douglas Pharis; one great-great grandson, Hudson Lee Pope and a host of many extended family and friends. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Clark, Sr. and Hattie (Webb) Clark; his beloved wife of 65 years, Alta Jean Warren Clark; one son, David Clark; granddaughter, Laura Clark as well as many siblings. A memorial service for Richard will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2020, 11:00 AM at Levisy Flat Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas where he will be laid to rest next to his wife; with Brother Mike Yates officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Army Funeral Honors Team and the Stone County Honor Guard. Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
