Henry Earl Hall

of Damascus, AR

November 6, 1960 - October 26, 2020

Henry Earl Hall, 59, of Damascus, was called Home on Oct. 26, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born Nov. 6, 1960 in Clinton, Ark. to the late Cecil Wayne and Carolyn Rose Hall. Henry was a fixer of all things, from cars to fences to broken hearts. He was a fun and loving husband, Daddy, and Pop. Henry was an involved member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and a faithful man of God.

Henry was a master electrician and owned his business, Hall Electric, for nearly 30 years. He enjoyed working on his cattle farm and always had a project in the works in his garage. Henry always enjoyed a practical joke and kept his family and friends laughing.

Henry is survived by Terry, his wife of 39 years; his son, Branson; his daughters, Tresse (Josh) Glover, Katie (Britton) Frazier, and Alexis Hall; his daughter-in-law, Rachel Hall; his grandchildren, Mary Grace, Hudson, Ballard, Wyatt, Declan, Emma, Finley, Caroline, Olivia, Avery, Georgia, and Molly Jean; his brother, Bruce (Darlene) Hall; his sisters, Cheryl (Robert) Stewart, Vicky Earnhart, and Kelly (Jack) NeSmith; his parents-in-law Jerry and Shirley Frazier; his sister- and brother-in-law Robbie ''Cissy'' and Jamey Wright; and the innumerable friends and family members whose lives he impacted.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 31, 2020 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Guy, Ark., with burial following at Spires Cemetery in Damascus.

Terry & family,
There are not enough words to ease your pain or fill the hole in your heart right now. So, I will retell the practical joke Henry played on Mike and I. Mike and I were still newlyweds when I was having a family get together for both of our families. I spent several days cleaning and getting ready. The day before the party, Henry and Mark came over to wire the garage that was added onto to the house we lived in. So, they were in our bedroom putting in the light switch for the garage light. Mike and I went to bed that night and jumped up when our feet hit something between the sheets. Henry and Mark had put sawdust all in the bottom of the bed in between the sheets and had remade the bed to where you couldn't tell anything had been done to it. We had to go sleep in the guest room that night and I had to reclean the room the next day after trying to get that sawdust out. We will miss Henry, his smile, his laugh, and his love life attitude.
Love,
Mike, Shelly, and April

Henry and Terry raised a great bunch of kids. They will always have that legacy. I had the privilege of teaching all four of them. I have special memories of Branson, Tresse, Katie, and Alexis. They were all different, but one thing they had in common was their love for God and for their family. Each child was special in his or her own way. Henry and Terry will always live on in this community through their children. My heart hurts for them and their mother because Henry was loved fiercely by them. They will always miss their daddy. Hopefully, they can all comfort each other during these sad times. I love all of them.

To Terry, you and Henry will always be dear to my heart. I have such sweet, fun memories of teenage years spent around Henry. Church hayrides, youth group trips to skating rink & bowling, going to ballgames, wed night church services. I smile when I think of a particular story I tell frequently of Henry picking me up for church on a Wednesday night. This was before he met Terry and I was not 16 yr old yet. Since I couldn’t drive , I always was hitching a ride. Well after church, we were not ready to call it a night and decided to drive to Bee Branch to Rice’s cafe for a coke. It got to be time for me to be home so my dad was looking for us. I’ll never forget how upset my dad was. That was the last time my dad actually gave me a paddling. So I blamed Henry for that! Henry was always fun and just had a heart of gold. I know he is having a blast in heaven. I can only imagine the joy & love felt when he got to those gates. I’m praying for Gods comfort and strength for the upcoming days for you and your family. Praise God for sharing Henry with us and we look forward to the day we meet him again, Christy (Rogers) Turner
