Ellender Jo Ann Calloway, 77 of Pearl, Mississippi passed away, Friday, October 23, 2020 at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. Jo Ann was born, Monday, December 28, 1942 in Marvell, Arkansas to the late Joe Calloway and Ludie Juanita Powell.
Jo Ann is survived by one sister, Brenda Coley of Jackson, Mississippi; one niece, Linda Coley of Pearl, Mississippi; two nephews John Hughes (Jennifer) of Batesville, Arkansas and Phillip Bennett (Melanie) of Newark, Arkansas; one great niece Emily Engles and two great nephews, Bobby Bennett and Jackson Hughes. She lovingly remembered her friends at Magnolia Senior Care in Jackson, Mississippi.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Doris Wooten and Linda Bennett, as well as one brother, Ray Calloway.
Jo Ann was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed audio books on religion, listening to country music and looking after her sister, Brenda, who was also her nursing home room mate.

Visitation for Jo Ann will be at 1:00 P. M. Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Graveside services will follow at 2:00 P. M. at Eventide Cemetery in Marvell, Arkansas.
