Rita Annette Thacker Bauman, 63, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas. Rita was born on May 9, 1957 in Modesto, California to the late Troy and Shirley (Mansell) Thacker. Rita worked for many years as a supervisor of credit collections and will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Rita is survived by her husband of 37 years, David of Rogers, Arkansas; son, Danny Cox, Jr. of Rogers, Arkansas; daughter, Lori Cox of Mountain View, Arkansas; step-son, David Bauman, Jr. and wife Sherri of Rogers, Arkansas; step-daughters, Carol Hughes and husband Dennis and April Bauman both of Modesto, California; brother, James Thacker of Rogers, Arkansas; sister, D'Etta Palmatier of Missouri; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; one niece, Melissa Palmatier and many extended family and friends.
Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Shirley (Mansell) Thacker.
A graveside service will be on Thursday, October 22, 2020, 1:00 PM at Big Flat Cemetery in Big Flat, Arkansas with Nathan Clark officiating.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Thacker, Lance Apple, Marty Apple, Cody Robinson, David Bauman, Jr. and Tony Green. Honorary pallbearer is her son, Danny Cox, Jr.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
