Faye Rece, 86, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at her home. She was born September 2, 1934, in Leachville to the late John Earl and Florence (McCauley) Skinner. Faye was retired from the Nettleton School District. She loved cooking, puzzle books, and game shows on tv. Most importantly, Faye loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of sixty-three years, Theodore Rece; son, Jimmy Rece; four brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law.
Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Claudia Carter, Deborah Rece, and Melissa (Tony) Shannon; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; brother, Joe Skinner; sister, Charlene Slatton; and daughter-in-law, Gail Rece.
Funeral services for Faye will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 22, 2020, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro with Jonathan Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Manila Cemetery.
Brandan Clark, Alexander Musumbi, Macmillan Musumbi, Logan Turner, Johnny Skinner, and Glen Skinner, will serve as pallbearers.
She will be lying in repose Wednesday afternoon, October 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects and sign the guestbook.
The family will receive guests during visiting hours on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Dierkson Hospice for their loving care of Faye.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear masks upon entering and while in the building.

Aunt Faye Rest In Peace no more pain you were a beautiful person and a special aunt to me I will always hold the memories we have.
