Jody, Shirley was an amazing person, as is your father. I’ve never known a more devoted couple. You are amazing too, and are fortunate to have had Shirley for a mother. Please accept my sincere condolences and prayers.
We send our condolences to all the Byrd family. May God give all of you peace at this difficult time.
I will always remember all the fun times TW and I had with James and Shirley, especially during all our travels together. They were so kind and good to me when I became a member of the cousin Byrd family. Shirley had a heart of gold as she constantly cared for her family and fed anyone who visited. It seemed as though the kitchen never closed and her beautiful gardens exuded hard work the care of loving hands. I know she will be missed by many. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,
Suzanne
