Eveline Stokes, age 82, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Stokes was born April 25, 1938 in Red Bay, Alabama to the late Troy and Lillian Bentley. She was a member of Trenton Baptist Church. She enjoyed drinking Folgers coffee and smoking Marlboro cigarettes.
Eveline is survived by a son, Mal Stokes, Jr. (Susan) of West Helena; daughter, Brenda Bloesch (Tommy) of West Helena; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Donnie Bentley (Debbie) of Lexa; two sisters, Linda McAlexander (Tommy) of Lexa and Carol Wolfe of Little Rock.; daughter in law Susan Montgomery Stokes of West Helena.
She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 30 years, Mal Stokes, Sr.; her parents; and her son, Phillip Wayne Stokes.
A memorial service for Eveline Stokes will be held at a later date.
