Betty Ray Palmer, 88, of Clarksville passed away October 14, 2020 in Russellville, AR. She was born September 25, 1932 in Russellville, AR to her parents, Jess L. Bell and Tabitha (Cochran) Bell. She was a member of East Mount Zion Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, CB radio, traveling with her husband, sewing, and quilting. She was a loving mother to her son Randy.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jess L. Bell and Tabitha (Cochran) Bell, sister Elizabeth Rackley, brother Brooks Bell, husband Leroy Palmer and her son Randy Roy Palmer.

Betty is survived by her step-grandson Tim Brooks of TX, friends Jerry & Melinda Bridges, Marilyn & Jerry Cowell, Dan & Marla Hartman, and Jane Burgess.

Open visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 4:00 pm '''' 6:00 pm friends will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville. Graveside Service will be held at Carter Cemetery, Tuesday, October 20, 2020 with Bro. Robbie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Betty was always a pleasure to be around. I always enjoyed enjoyed visiting with her and Doobie" when they were eating out. She always had a smile and had a kind word. She was crazy about her Randy. A good woman who had many friends. She will be missed!!!

I worked at Clarksville Convalescent Home for many years when Betty worked in the kitchen. She was always smiling and laughing, friendly to everyone and could easily put anyone in a good mood. Thank you Betty for finding humor in everything and making me laugh. GODSPEED!
