Rose Ely, 76, of Batesville died October 13, 2020

She was born February 13, 1944 in Syracuse, New York to Henry and Alice (Darrow) Kellar.

Rose was known in her family as the fun aunt. She took her nieces water skiing and taught them how to sew. She worked as an accountant at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa, Florida for over 30 years. She was an avid bowler and a fast pitch softball player.

She is survived by one sister, Doris Seudamore of Florida, and four nieces, Sandra McMickle, Wanda Denew, Kim Chaney, and Debra Devito.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Ely.

Her services will be held through Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida.
