I served in the Navy.

Jimmy "Smitty" Royce SmithI am a Veteran.

of Conway, AR

June 15, 1936 - October 11, 2020

Jimmy Royce "Smitty" Smith, age 84 of Conway, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 11th, 2020 at St. Andrews Place in Conway. He was born in Leslie, Arkansas on June 15th, 1936 to Reverend Eugene Franklin Smith and Beulah Muriel Gregg Smith.

J.R. "Smitty" served a four year Tour of Duty in the United States Navy. Then in 1967 J.R. "Smitty", having a passion for riding Motorcycles since he was 15 years old, became President of the North Little Rock Bandido Chapter Motorcycle Club of Arkansas and rode with them for quite a number of years. Along with J.R. "Smitty's" many accomplishments, the biggest one was his dedication to the Union Pacific Railroad, retiring from them after putting in 36 years. J.R. "Smitty" was always a real character to be around. Never a dull moment was had when he was present. He could make you laugh most always but he knew how to "hold his own" if need be as well. He will be missed greatly.

Survivors include his only daughter, Kay M. (Smith) Lusk and Ray Meitzen of Conway; his grandchildren, Katrina Leigh Smith of Round Mountain, Texas, Shayla Marie Henderson and husband Luke of Round Mountain, Texas and Lindsay Alexandra Lusk of Johnson City, Texas; along with 4 great-grandchildren, Devon, Kailea, Astrid and Evan. Also he leaves his many Bandido brothers and wonderful friends who will without a doubt, mourn his passing as well.

J.R. "Smitty" is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Eugene F. and Beulah M. Smith, and one great-grandchild, Beau E. Henderson.

If you would like to celebrate the life of Jimmy R. "Smitty" Smith with his loved ones, services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 17th, 2020 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bear officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 3:00 PM Friday, October 16th, 2020 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be the Little Rock Chapter of the Bandido Nation.
