of Harriet, AR
November 21, 1948 - October 10, 2020
Barbara Jean Seagle, 71, went to be with the Lord Saturday October 10, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was born November 21, 1948 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Joe and Verla (Smelker) Martinez.
Barbara touched many lives with her positivity, kindness, and love. She was such a giving and non-judgmental person, she made you feel instantly at ease and cared for. Barbara accepted you for who you were in the present and never would hold anyone's mistakes against them. She gave you the opportunity to be who you were meant to be. Barbara loved animals and took care of any that came around. She also never passed on a good opportunity to lovingly embarrass her grandchildren. Her grandchildren after all, were her whole world.
She is proceeded in death by both of her parents and a brother Lee Martinez.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of fifty two years, Dennie Seagle, two daughters; Dawn (Tom) Waddle of Harriet, Arkansas, Kerri (Stephen) Burnett of Clinton, Arkansas, seven grandchildren; Keira Waddle, Timothy Waddle, Tommy Waddle, Tasha Waddle, Levi Burnett, Hannah Burnett, Michael Vaughn, two sisters; Donna Gross, Jolene Ems, many great-grandchildren, other family members, and a host of friends.
Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday October 17, 2020 at Bee Branch Baptist Church in Bee Branch, Arkansas.

I'm sure going to miss this fine wonderful lady. The trips with Barb and Dennie to random places to fish and browse antique stores and just hang out together are awesome memories and were awesome times. I know Barb is in a good place and until we meet again in the presence of the Lord I will say I love you and miss you but know you are blessed to be in God's presence.
We are very sorry for the loss of your mother, sending prayers for all.
Barbara and I are cousins. We spent many a fun Christmas at the farm in Stratton. Sometimes we would see each other in the summers. She was always a lot of fun and had a great sense of humor. We met Denny when they lived in the Springs. She was a year younger than me. While I know she is now with God, I know all in her family will miss her . May you know the comfort of God’s presence during this period of grief. Peace of the Lord. Charlene
So sorry Kerri and family for the loss of your Mother. I had the privilege of meeting her & seeing her several times at church & she was always sweet. May the Lord wrapped His comforting & loving arms around all of you during this time.
So sorry to hear of Barb's passing but know she is now in a painless and heavenly place. Prayers and love to you all. Leila
