Alene Pledger Ihle, 81, of Altus, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Ozark. She was born on July 23, 1939 in Hartman, Arkansas to her parents, J.H. and Anna Marie (Wise) Clayborn. She was a retired supervisor from Gerber and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paris.
She is preceded in death by her parents, J.H. and Anna Marie (Wise) Clayborn; her first husband, Billy H. Pledger; her second husband, Charles Ihle, Sr.; one son, Steve Pledger; two granddaughters, Alexis Pledger and Jennifer Golden; four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Paula Weeks of Altus; two sons, Tim Pledger of Altus and Doug Pledger of Ozark; three step-sons, Charles Ihle, Jr. of Magazine, Joe Ihle of Caulksville and Jim Ihle of Paris; one sister, Rita Wyers of Ozark; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
A graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Liberty Cemetery in Altus under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

We are so very sorry for your loss. She was very dear to us . She was married to my cousin. His mom and dad were my aunt and uncle. Alene and my mother were very close. We have missed her since she moved across the river. We loved her very much.
Alene was a dear friend of mine. We worked together for many years at Triple R and shared so many wonderful memories. Wayne and I liked to visit with her about the coal mining days and all of her trips to Branson. Alene holds a special place in my heart and she will be missed dearly. Praying for the family.

It broke our hearts to hear the news we lost Alene. She wasn’t only our neighbor but she was a part of our family . A friend and my kids Grandma .
