Barbara Ruth Porter, 82, of Searcy died Friday, October 9, 2020 in a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1938 in Ironton, Arkansas to Jack Collins and Ruth Petty Collins.

She worked in the medical profession as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed sewing, decorating her home, shopping, getting her hair done and most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Hensley (Doug) of Pangburn, Cathy Morgan and Bonnie Luxem (Chris) of Judsonia; a brother, Troy Collins of Bauxite; grandson, Devin Hensley (Kara) of Pangburn; four granddaughters, Hannah Hensley of Pangburn, DeAnn Watson, Salina Morgan and Kassandra Eiler all of Searcy: eleven great-grandchildren, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Eudale Porter; a daughter Debra Ruth Porter; a granddaughter Katie Goodman; four brothers, Pete, Lee, Raymond and Bill Collins.

Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Hall and Brother Keith Porter officiating. Visitation will be Monday, October 12, 2020 from 6-8PM at the Funeral Home Chapel.

CDC guidelines regarding masks and physical distancing will be observed.

Entombment will be at White County Memorial Gardens.
