Aunt Eileen was such a wonderful aunt. She and Uncle Loyal were such a big part of our lives growing up and continued to be so in the years to come. We will all miss her so much. We are very happy to have the memories of our times together with all the family. And to Cathy: we're here for you all the time. We love you.
Prayers and love sent to the family.
So sorry to hear very nice lady she was my neighbor through the woods prayers
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Eileen was a sweet lady. My prayers to you all. God Bless You All.
I worked with Eileen for many years at Clinton State Bank. Once, I told her I couldn't wait until I got to go to a certain concert that was about 3 months away. She told me not to "wish my life away". Words of wisdom I've thought about many times. She was a sweet lady.
She was a wonderful aunt and friend. I loved her dearly and will always remember the wonderful times shared with her.
Dear Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Miss Eileen's passing. I was blessed to get to work for her at Clinton State Bank. I started teaching and she would always allow me to work on my breaks and in the Summer. She taught me so much during that time. Eileen was kind and had so much patience. She was one whose laughs could bring the room alive especially during 1st of the months.... I will miss her sweet smile and kind heart. The world could use a few more Mrs. Smiley's.
A beautiful lady inside and out. She was a wonderful aunt and friend. I loved her and will miss her so very much.
Great Lady. I Loved her.
I truly cherish the years that I worked at CSB with this sweet lady. I was so nervous as that was my first job after graduating and I’ll never forget her sweet kindness to me. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. â¤ï¸
We are so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Smiley was such a sweet person and always seemed so calm. Mr. Smiley was my favorite teacher and they made a great couple.
Eileen was such a nice and friendly person. Prayers for the family.
So sorry to hear that Eileen passed away. Such a sweet lady who was always so kind at the bank.
A fine lady and friend. We had many conversations, both in person and on the telephone. She was so proud of her two children, she would keep me up to date on what they were doing. Loyal was first an excellent teacher that took a few of us lackadaisical students under his wing and made us write the biology textbook while he was running his bus route. He too became a good friend. They both helped many people and encouraged success. They will be fondly remembered and missed. They both earned their rest.
Eileen was always so sweet to us and I know she will be missed by all your family!
We loved Eileen and Loyal Smiley. They have an important part in our memories and history. Thoughts and prayers to Eileen’s family.

Eileen was a great co-worker with a generous spirit and a heartfelt laugh. I enjoyed knowing her. She was alway enjoyable to be around and work with at CSB. My sincere sympathy to her family and loved ones.
Sorry to hear this. I got to know Eileen when Loyal Smiley, "Mr Smiley" taught school in Leslie. Good folks.
Eileen was such a quiet, sweet person who I will always remember with fondness. Every year Mr. Smiley would drop a check off to me for Friends of Special People and after Mr. Smiley died, she continued by mailing us a check every year. They helped a lot of children over the years with their generosity. They were both very special people and will always be remembered. My prayers are with the family.
