October 15, 2020
Though their time on this earth was brief, their lives were meaningful, their memories are cherished, and their impact will last a lifetime. While they cannot stand beside us to share their stories, we will be their voices to raise awareness, provide support and share resources on the issues surrounding perinatal and infant loss throughout Arkansas.
Changing the face of infant loss in our communities is THEIR legacy.
I am here in Heaven,
God took me by the hand.
Wrapped me in His love,
gently led me to His land.
I will always be your baby,
our hearts joined by love.
Now a perfect little angel,
I'm watching from above.
I am part of you,
though brief the time we shared.
Take comfort, be healed,
I'm safe in loving care.
Remember me with joy,
lift a smile to the skies.
Say a prayer for me,
let there be no sad goodbyes.
One day we'll meet again,
a lifetime I will wait.
You will know the little angel with outstretched arms
at Heaven's gate.
The Wave of Light Ceremony will take place at
6:30PM on Thursday, October 15, 2020,
on the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol.
A spotlight will shine to the heavens in memory of Arkansas's lost little ones. If you feel led to be present, be prepared to follow all social distancing and mask guidelines to ensure we can celebrate their memories and safely support our fellow neighbors. The event will also be live streamed on Holy Sews Facebook page for those who wish to participate privately.
