Sorry to hear of Benny's passing. He and Bob were lifetime neighbors and friends. The Bradleys and Johnsons spent many nights at each others homes. His Mom and Dad were always special to them. RIP Benny, you were one of my favorite dancers~ we’ve had some fun times and lots of laughter. You loved your wife and missed her tremendously. I bet you two are cuttin it up in heaven! You were super proud of your family, always telling me something about those grandkids! You always had a smile on your face. You will be missedâ¤ï¸
If you never got to watch a sunrise on the front porch and Bennie and Anna Mae Johnson's house, you missed out. I have so many great memories from time spent in their home, from using Anna Mae's Aqua Net Hairspray as a blowtorch, to late night move marathons, to all-night card games, to learning to ride a motorcycle (or failure in my case), to prom balloons filed with acetylene gas instead of helium, to scavenger hunts, to many days of skipped school spent on the lake, to good food, to great advice, to epic four-wheeler riding adventures that always ended with Anna Mae making sure we all had enough money for B&G Pizza, to a stain on that front porch I can never live down from an unfortunate night of overindulging on Purple Passion. There house is one of the houses that built me. I will never forget their love for a whole community of kids who considered them as family! RIP Bennie Johnson!
So sorry to hear about your dad, Terry. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
