I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Gary was a great man who I always admired and respected for his commitment to the Lord and the obvious love he had for his family. Please know you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Uncle Gary was a great example of what the love of Christ looks like. If you knew him, you were loved by him. One thing that has always stood out to me was his contagious smile. He was always smiling. He was nothing less than a joy to be around. Many prayers for Granny Caudle, Aunt Maude, Becca, Melissa, Ashley, and family. We love you very much!
Dear Brenda Gonzales and family: My thoughts are with you and your family members during this time of loss. Although I did not know Gary personally, I can tell by reading others’ words and memories of him; and, viewing his sweet picture that he was a dear soul to so many.Brenda - I will never forget how caring and thoughtful you were when my brother Ronnie passed away July 28, 2019 at the age of 68. When I returned to work you came to my office with a beautifully framed picture of my brother’s obituary, you placed your hand on my shoulder, and quietly handed it to me. I looked up at you and held the picture to my heart with tears in my eyes. I still remember this day like it was yesterday and thinking this was the most thoughtful gift that anyone could have ever given me. Thank you for being such a wonderful, kind person. I miss seeing and talking with you 5 days a week as I did before my retirement. But you are never far from my thoughts. I love you girl!May you and your family find peace .....Sincerely, Sandy Taylor
We only knew Mr. Caudle for a short time, but that was all it took to realize what a wonderful man he was. Our MOST sincere condolences,Brian, Brenda, and ClaudiaCHI St. Vincent's Cardiac Rehab
Uncle Gary was such a sweet and kind soul. You could visibly see the love radiate off of him, especially when he was with his family. I'm so proud to have known Uncle Gary. Aunt Maude, I wish I could be there to give you hug. I'm praying you and your sweet family. May you feel the presence of the Lord as you walk through this valley.
Maude, Richard just told me of Gary’s passing. I am so sorry. You will be in my prayers. Sincerely, Sally
We will all miss Gary very much. I will always remember him as loving, caring and very friendly. I was lucky to have him to talk to during many gymnastics classes. He was a wonderful father and a great example to us all.
I am so sorry for the heartache you and we are experiencing . Gary was a fine person and a great Christian example. Prayers for peace and understanding for the family and all who love him.
So sorry for your loss. Gary loved ALL his girls and grandchildren. May you find love and comfort in those who loved Gary.
We were so shocked and then so heartbroken upon hearing this news. Maude and family, please know we are praying for you. I remember all the years knowing you guys - through all the Barrow Road days. Maude, you guys are such a wonderful Christian family and we both think the world of you. Gary was so kind and soft-spoken, he had a gentle nature and a grin that always put you at ease. I remember being so proud and pleased when he and Jerry Spears were installed as elders at Barrow Road. He was such a wonderful example of a true Christ follower. I am so glad we happened to run into you guys a few months ago, out eating. As we visited briefly that evening, it was like we hadn't even been apart all these years. We treasure that moment. Praying for peace and comfort for each of you.
God bless, we are remembering you all at this time.Love, Gary & Elaine
I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless and comfort you all. Gary was such a good, kind and thoughtful christian man. May your love and memories fill your soul .
Want a humble spirit Gary always carried!! From the day we started worshipping at N.S. he always went out of his way to make us feel at home and that we belonged! God bless his sweet family!!!
Dear Caudle family, we are so saddened by the death of a Gary. He was such a kind, loving & Great Christian example for all of us. His love for Maude & his girls was so evident as well as his sons in law. His grandchildren had his total love & attention. I know how much they all loved their Pawpo. Our prayers are with all of you through this very difficult time. Praying for God’s peace, mercy & understanding. Praying for the comfort that only Our Heavenly Father can give. We love you all & if there is anything at all you need please let us know. In Christian Love. Jeff & Donna Haughee❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Gary was such a calm and peaceful Christian man to be around. He was so much like his father Mr. Caudle. Gary was such a devoted Christian, husband, father, Pawpo and cousin. He will be greatly missed.
Gary was an inspiration to me. He was an imitator of Christ. He loved and expected nothing in return. He served expecting no reward. Gary will be missed.
Our hearts broke when we heard about Gary’s passing. We loved him and looked up to him in many ways. What a tremendous Christian man he was. A wonderful husband, father, and Pawpo. He, with sweet Maude, have created the kind of close knit family we strive to have when our own three girls grow and spread their wings. He was always so kind. Offering a smile, a joke, or a hug depending on what life was throwing at us. He just radiated love to those around him. He was such a light in our Northside family. A person you were always glad to see and chat with. His deep love for his family was evident in all he did. You could see the joy and pride he had when talking about his children and especially those precious grandchildren. Praying fervently for all of you that have lost such a pillar for your family. We will miss him very much along with you. All Our Love, Amanda and Vinny Ashton
So sorry for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
When I think of Gary I think of how he let his light shine. There is so much one can say about him, he touched many with love and kindness. One thing I will never forget is his laugh...I have always loved that laugh. My love and prayers are with you Maude, Becca, Melissa, Ashley and all the family. A special prayer for my mother-in-law Louise Caudle. I love you all!
Shock and grief are the two words that come to mind in learning about Gary’s passing. Gary and I worked together for many years through some fun times and some challenging situations, but Gary was always the calm voice of reason that helped steer the ship. I counted Gary much more than a work associate, he was my friend. As we both retired, we kept in touch by the annual birthday greetings in October. I did see Gary several months ago, we talked about keeping up with each other on Facebook and trying to get a golf game together (as we once did quite often).Gary was smart, professional, had a solid sense of humor and he will be missed by all that associated with him.I will not be able to attend the memorial service, but I will be there in spirit.
Gary was a shining example of what a Christian man should be. He truly had the heart of a servant. The obvious love your family has for each other is an inspiration to us all! We are praying for your strength in the difficult days ahead.
Dear maude and girls Brenda and jack I'm so sorry about Gary have know all if you for a long it was a shock when I seen it on Facebook words cannot describe how hard it is for everyone but one thing the Lord will give you peace and love in the coming days you are in our prayers love each and everyone of you
Dear Maude, I’m so sorry for your loss. I was blessed to know Gary as both a boss and friend, and I’m a better man today because of his leadership and influence in my life. Someday soon we will be reunited with our loved ones in Heaven! Until that glorious day, I pray that you and your precious family feel the warm embrace of God’s love and peace.
I am so sorry to hear about Gary. I don't remember when I met Gary but was sometime during our school years. One summer I worked for Mr and Mrs Caudle watching Brenda and Jack and got to know the family. They were very dear people. Lots of good memories from that summer. Prayers for all of you!
So did for y'alls loss
The word "Good" does not even begin to describe who Gary was as a person, yet it is also appropriate since it portrays his morality, integrity, and decency with the unpretentious humility and grace with which he always carried himself. He was a true friend and shepherd to so many, myself included. My thoughts and prayers are with Gary's family and loved ones. Please remember that he is now where all of us aspire to be, both in the afterlife and in terms of the legacy he leaves behind here.Thank you for allowing me the space to post this woefully inadequate tribute, and peace and blessings be with you all.
The loss of this fine Christian husband, father, grandfather and friend is heartbreaking. We will remember Gary with love and respect. Prayers for comfort and guidance for his family.
My deepest heart felt sympathy to Maude and the family. My heart is broken for Aunt Louise, Bryce, Jack and Brenda as well. Gary was a wonderful Christian man and served our Lord with grace. I have so many sweet memories of our time together at Grandma and Grandpa Anderson's house. Being with our extended family,Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. My first thought when I hear the news, went to Maude and Aunt Louise. The 2 most important women in his life. Gary loved his family and was a sweet man. His beautiful smile and his laughter are what I will remember. Gary has now joined so many of our family who have gone back to our God. Sadly the list continues to grow. I am looking forward to our wonderful, blessed family union in the presence of God. My love and my prayers for your peace of heart during this painful time. Much love and hugs, Debbie (cousin)
Maude and girls this just broke my heart to hear of Gary’s passing! I know how hard it has to be to loose the one person who you’ve always had to love, guide and just be there for you! Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am. I will always remember Gary as he would take Cash to Children’s church on Sunday s.
So very sorry for those he leaves behind. A shining example of the person He was created to be! Much sympathy!
My memories of Gary are sweet & are blessings. He was always so kind & peaceful.. My heart and prayers go out to Aunt Louise, Maude, Rebecca, Melissa, Ashley & your beautiful families. Much love to you all, Cousin Heather

Gary and I were installed as Elders together at Barrow Road and I know a true Christian and header Gary remained his entire life. To Maude and your entire family, we love you and you are in our prayers.Jerry and Donna
I will always think of Gary as a great encourager, a modern day "Barnabas." He was a friend, and I enjoyed visiting with him. I also appreciate his tireless, compassionate care of his grandchildren., especially his calming nature when Cash was distressed during hospital stays at ACH. When Pawpo was present, all was better. Billy McLain

Gary was my brother-in law, but i always thought of him as a big brother. He was smart, funny and always thinking family first. He always remembered birthdays, anniversaries, of everyone in my family. Gary was a righteous man, a friend to eryone and a true leader who strived to live his life as God wanted him to. I think God will appoint him one of his Ambassadors to the angels in Heaven. I will miss Gary but I know he's looking down from Heaven checking on his family. Because Gary you were the ultimate family man! Carry on..Brother!
When I learned of Mr Gary's passing I was heartbroken. I have had the privilege of knowing Mr Gary and watching first-hand how much this man loved the Lord and his family. Mr Gary was always there lending a helping hand and being the best Pawpo anyone could ask for. Mr Gary was a great example of a Christian Husband, Father, and Grandfather, he was a great man, and he will be missed by all those lucky enough to know him.
Praying for your family!
He will always remain in the hearts of those who met him. In today's World, a gentleman of a man that showed compassion to family, friends and strangers. He made this World a better place and will be missed by all. Praying GOD's comfort for all the family.
So sorry for your loss. Our hearts and prayers are with this great family!
Are thoughts and prayers are with you Melissa and your family
We are so sad. A great husband and dad but we so loved seeing him as Pawpo. Gary showed love in his eyes every time he talked to me. We love where he is but agonize for this family knowing how much he will be missed.
Gary was always the friendly, smiling face that greeted us at church. He always called us by name which made us feel close to him and church family. His passing has left a gaping hole for so many that hopefully can be filled by wonderful and cherished memories. Our sincere condolences to Maude and the entire family.
I so appreciated Gary and his sense of humor. On one of our first visits to Northside as we sat near him and his family he said, "I apologize in advance for the noise my family will make during church." We loved the "noise" of his precious family and loved seeing how good he was with all his grand kids. He will be greatly missed.Blessings, Sherry
Maude, girls and family, To echo someone previously, our hearts hurt for you. A friend we knew we could call upon if needed. He loved all. Prayers for your comfort, feel our arms in a hug though we can't. We love you.

Gary was such a caring man who always greeted you with a warm, welcoming smile. His love for his family was evident to anyone that met him. I will always remember admiring what a sweet grandfather was and the videos of cash talking about pawpo. Every time I look at Jagger I see his twin. We are praying for you all and so heartbroken for your loss.
Prayers hugs love. Tonya Knight
When he was an elder, I would call him Mr. Caudle. He quickly told me that his dad was Mr. Caudle. He said, "I am Gary." From then on, I would call him Mr. Caudle to pick on him and he would always say, "Gary". I enjoyed the little laugh and smile on his face. For the last several years I just called him Gary. Gary called the church office recently when Maude went to the hospital by ambulance. He was standing in the parking lot near the ambulance. He called asking for prayers for the live of his life, his rock. Maude, he was worried about you. I could tell by the sound of his voice that he was scared for you. What a wonderful gift to have a husband that loved you so incredibly much. Several weeks ago, he stopped by the office to drop something off that Maude had sent with him while he was out running errands. He told me that day that he missed his church family and looked forward to the day he could be back together with us all again. Gary, I look forward to that day too. Sir, you are one special man. Thanks for the legacy you left for your family and church family. I love you.
We are so saddened by the passing of Gary we are so sorry for your loss. Gary was such a friendly and nice man and we will miss his big smile and the hello he always said to us as we passed him at church to sit down. Prayers for the family and our condolences.
Gary and Maudie are two of the best Christian examples. Imagine what Gary is experiencing right now. I love you guys.
When we first started going to NS, about 10 years ago, we first sat behind you guys family. Gary spoke to us very quickly and immediately he made us feel like family. Like we had known each other forever. Marlee was toddling then. I can can still see him swoop her up out of the aisle. Gary visited my parents in the hospital early on when my Mom became sick. He was the first church member from NS ever to make a visit to my family and they were very glad for his visit. They too said Gary "just talked to them like old friends." I cannot tell you with words how it took my breath to read he had passed. Gary's kindness, sense of empathy for all, and tenderness with those grandbabies I will always remember. Our prayers are with each of you.
Our family would like to express our sympathies for your loss. I know how close you all are and how much you will miss Mr Gary. May God bless you and wrap His arms around you I. This difficult time.
Melissa...I’m so sorry to hear this. prayers being said for all of you

Where do you begin to tell what's on your heart for 63 years? He"s with the angels now, watching over his family; My big brother. My heart is broken and I will miss him for the rest of my life. Time too short and not enough words to describe what he means to me. Gary I love you. Brenda or "sis" as he called me.
