Sterlin Wallace III (Tray), 39, of Batesville died October 1, 2020

He was born June 4, 1981 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Sterlin Wallace Jr. and Virginia Dale (Martin) Wallace.

Tray was a very loving and a caring person who thought of everyone before himself. He was full of life and had a good sense of humor. He accepted the life God had given him and lived it to the fullest.

He is survived by his parents and one sister, Dorajo McDonald (Paul) of Batesville.

Preceding him in death is his grandparents, W.D. and Betty Jo Martin, Sterlin Wallace Sr., and Muriel Wallace.

Pallbearers are Greg Justice, Jimmy Martin, Brian Martin, Grason Martin, Joey Howard, and Chad Dockins. Honorary pallbearers are Paul McDonald and John Rosier.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Rosie Baptist Church at 10:00am with Ferrell Miller officiating under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitations will be Friday, October 2, 2020 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home. The family will be present from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rosie Baptist Church 3129 Newport Rd. Rosie AR, 72571 or to Faith Baptist Church 537 Stacey Dr., Batesville, AR. 72501.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral attendance, limitations will be posted at the church. Visitation attendance will be limited to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering and social distancing will be observed.

Tray was such an amazing person and I was very lucky to get to know him through working on his medical equipment. He was so funny and was truly a light to be around. He will be greatly missed by his NSM family.

Virginia and DoraJo:

So sorry to hear about Trey. Been out of touch from work because of health issues. Back until December 31 and then I am retiring. He held on a long time and had the best personality. Smiling and laughing despite that wheelchair. My heart and prayers go out to you both. Great Mom and Great Sister, best caregivers he could have ever had. Love to you both.
