"Bun" was a blessing to all whose lives she touched, I have such loving memories of time together with her. She was a true Proverbs 31 lady.

Ms Garner was such a sweet lady who Love the Lord! I had the privilege to clean her apartment the last months of her time here and she was always such a joy to visit with. She loved all her family as she would always Bragg on how well she was taken care of. I am so glad that The Lord brought her across my path! She will be missed by all her family and friends but she is well and I know she is with The Lord!

I will always be grateful to Angie’s parents for welcoming me into their home. Her parents were so sweet to me and Laverne was such a good cook. Oh I wish I could have one more of her Sunday meals. Bless you all.

Laverne was my next-door neighbor in the Moore Building at the Good Shepherd Community here in Little Rock. I had somewhat adopted her as my substitute mom, and everyone on our floor just loved her because she was always so kind and sweet. We will definitely miss her calm and quiet presence among us.

Your Mom was a special lady and I will always cherish my memories of my Mom,
Bessie Shelton and her sitting on the bench in the church foyer catching up. They both had beautiful smiles and could see the love of he Lord in them. Now
they share another bench watching over all their loved ones. You are a special
Family to me.

Laverne and Arvel were dear and close friends to Betty and I during part of the 1950's and 1960's. Visiting in our homes, worship and taking the children to the park to play. We pray for God's comfort and blessings for the family as you mourn your loss.
Sincerely,
Richard Carrington

As a boy Ariel and Laverne were a second set of parents to me. They were an amazing Godly couple with such love for family and friends. They both set an example for what it means to be a Christian. I pray God’s comfort and peace will be upon the entire family.

Sympathy and prayers for her family. We will miss her sweet smile and quiet ways in our worship assembly. We shared an immediate friendship when they first came to Pleasant Valley because we had the same last name! She was always there when she was able to attend.
