of Roland, AR
May 6, 1946 - September 27, 2020
Roy Wayne Horsey Sr., 74 of Roland, AR passed away on September 27, 2020 in Little Rock, AR. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who was devoted to his family. He is preceded in death by his parents (Mack & Frances Horsey) and brother (James Horsey).
Roy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sherry Horsey, son Roy Horsey Jr. (Sally Horsey), daughter Tera Horsey, granddaughter Jacquelynn Horsey, grandson Zachary Horsey, and three siblings Sue Higginbotham, J.D. Horsey, and Betty Barnes. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and life-long friends. Roy will also be lovingly remembered by his best friend Bill Russell of Leon, OK.
Roy worked in construction for over 40 years traveling all over the United States. He enjoyed getting out and exploring the cities and towns he worked in, and always found the best flea markets to browse.
Roy's hobbies included, hunting, fishing, wood working, listening to iTunes (way too loud),and watching YouTube. He learned more from YouTube in these last few years than all his years in construction, such as dumpster diving and how to live off the grid (in a Russian dialect of course).
The visitation will be held 4:00-8:00pm, Wednesday, September 30 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00-8:00pm. The graveside service will be 1:00pm, Thursday, October 1 at Natural Steps Cemetery.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Sweet cousin so sorry for your loss. I remember when you were going on your first date with Roy. I was visiting my favorite cousins.
