Charles Dale Lorang, 67, Yellville, Arkansas died Monday, September 21, 2020, unexpectedly.

Chuck was born June 27, 1953, in St. Charles, Illinois to Charles F. and Dale Virginia (Sulzmann) Lorang (deceased) and was a longtime resident of Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He graduated from Glenbard West High School in 1971, entered into the United States Air Force, stationed at Terahone Air Force Base, Madrid, Spain. Chuck worked as a stagehand for the Theatrical Stage Employees Union Local Two for twenty plus years (Chicago) following in his family trade. He was the Theatre Property Department Head until he retired in 2003. Chuck spent his retirement years in Yellville, Arkansas developing and enjoying his property, living in the great outdoors and cooking on his deck.

Chuck was a supporter of Boys Town, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Chuck is survived by his brother, Michael Alan Lorang, family and many cherished friends.

His final resting place will be the Fayetteville National Cemetery for Veterans.

In lieu of flowers, family would like to consider donations be made in his name to the Have a Heart Pet Shelter (North Central Arkansas) or the Stagehand plan.

Arrangements are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.

We were saddened to hear Chuck had passed. We only found out today. He was neighbors with us for years. God bless him.
