James Lee Slay, 60, of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Excell and Emma Slay.
James worked as a supervisor at Windsor Door for 35 years. He was an avid sports fan and the number one supporter of the Oakland Raider's. James loved the Lord and led with a servant's heart as a Deacon of his church.
James is survived by his wife of 24 years, Alisa Slay; daughters, Dreka Ingram (and David Smith), Casandra (and Richard) Moore; grandchild, Collin Moore; brothers, Cliff, Barry, Kenneth, and Terry Slay; sisters, Debra Slay and Carla Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Excell and Emma Slay; and sister, Vicki Smith.
A funeral service will be held at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. A visitation will be held at Roller-Owens Funeral Home on Friday, October 2, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A graveside service will be held following the funeral at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in North Little Rock.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks are required for attendees for the safety of our families.
