Winston Carol Garrison, age 71, of Beebe, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Little Rock. Mr. Garrison was born October 19, 1948 in Marianna, Arkansas to the late James and Pearl Garrison. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Mr. Garrison worked as a truck driver for more than 30 years and he was also a volunteer fire fighter. He loved to hunt and fish and listen to classical music.
Mr. Garrison is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia Mavity Garrison; daughter, Patricia Smith (James) of Romance, Arkansas; granddaughter, Amanda Smith (Chad); great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Garner; and two brothers, Kenneth Garrison (Mary Jane) of Barton, Arkansas and Charles Garrison of Barton, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Winston Carol Garrison, Jr.; five brothers, James Garrison, Thomas Garrison, Glen Garrison, Grady Garrison and Danny Garrison; and one sister, Joyce King.
A graveside service for Winston Garrison will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in West Helena. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Brother Fred Garrison will officiate.
Guidelines regarding COVID-19 will be followed. Social distancing of at least 6 feet must be maintained. All visitation attendees must provide and wear a mask.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
