Melville DeWitt Curtis, Jr., 69, of Jonesboro, formerly of Proctor, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2020. He was born February 9, 1951 in Memphis, TN to Melville DeWitt Curtis, Sr. and Dorothy (Ward) Curtis.
He was a Farmer and enjoyed hunting and playing golf.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory is sons, Chris Curtis and wife April, and Melville Curtis III;
daughter, Jessica Lancaster; grandchildren, Cailynn, Callie and Christopher Curtis, Abel and Eden Curtis, Mackenzie Lancaster; sister JoAnn Donaldson and husband Tommy; and nephews, Tom, Bryan, and Devin Donaldson.
Graveside service will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 22. 2020, at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, AR.
Visitation will precede service at 10:00 am at the cemetery.
The CDC is recommending face masks while observing social distancing guidelines during graveside services.
All attendees must provide and wear their own masks.

Hello guys, so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am Tommy Guzman's step daughter and have very fond memories of your dad and Tommy together.
They say it gets easier but it really is hard.
