Edward A. Yonker, 84, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on September 19, 2020 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Edward was born on November 23, 1935 in Flintstone, Maryland to the late Delmer and Bessie Yonker. Edward was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force and served his country proudly in the Vietnam War. After Edward retired from the Air Force Edward sold and repaired dental equipment and attended Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Edward was a loving son, father, brother, husband, and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Edward is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 43 years, Betty (Mitchell) Yonker; one son, Timothy Yonker of Texas; daughters, Kimberly Lewis and Cynthia Edwards of Pennsylvania and Vickie Hutchins of Georgia; eight grandchildren and a host of many extended family and friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Delmer and Bessie Yonker; brother, Lee Yonker, and son, Paul Yonker.
Visitation for Edward is Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM with Brother Will Thompson officiating. Interment will follow the visitation at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Lyle Hutchins, Joshua Hutchins, Jim Duncan, and Will Thompson. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ron Simpson and Weldon Duncan.
Military honors will be rendered by the Stone County Honor Guard.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

Dear Betty and family We are so sorry to hear that our friend Ed has left us. We have enjoyed our time we have had with Ed. But we know it is not the end, we will be with him again Praising the Lord together once more.
