February 6, 1930 - September 17, 2020

L.D. Reed, 90, of West Memphis, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020, surrounded by his loving family in his home. Mr. Reed was born in Maben, Mississippi to Mr. Walter Lora Reed and Mrs. Josie Dewberry Reed, on February 6, 1930. L.D. never met a stranger; He loved to ride around and listen to country music as well as southern gospel and, joke with his family and friends. He also enjoyed going to church and watching westerns. He is survived by one son, Dale Reed; three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Goodbar (Harry), Maudie Riley, and Jan Reed, as well as a host of extended family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, a sister, his first wife, Jackie; and his second wife Mary Ann Reed.
Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all attendees must provide and wear their own mask.

Harry, & Mary, We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Reed. I know he will be missed by many. He was always so quiet, but very nice. May his soul rest in peace. 🙏
