Edgar Wayne Carter, 73, of Jonesboro, passed away at St. Bernards Hospital on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. He was born November 11, 1946 in Jonesboro to Bedford and Mabel (Hall) Carter. Edgar worked in factory jobs and also as a car detailer. He was of the Baptist faith. Edgar served in the US Army and National Guard.
Edgar was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Buddy Carter; and two sisters, Joann Dudley and Donna Bray.
Left behind to cherish the wonderful memory of Edgar include his loving wife of 31 years, Donna (Husketh) Carter; three sons, Eric, Dustin and Scotty Carter; a daughter, Deionna Fye of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Logan Hawkins, Shauna Carter, Martha Fye, Madison Fye and Jake Carter; and a sister, Doris White.
No services are scheduled at this time.

Donna Lou, you and Eric and Dustin are in my thoughts and prayers. God will help you through this very sad and difficult time. Look to him when your heart is troubled and you look for your loved one but he is nowhere to be found. Always remember he is with our creator now and they love you . Dont be sad or lonely, they are watching over you. And you will all be together again .
