Jean Rose Strout, 91, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the Waters of Mountain View Nursing and Rehab in Mountain View, Arkansas. Jean was born on January 7, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Joseph and Pearl (Worthington) Forbes. Jean attended Flatwoods Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker who was greatly loved and will be missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Sharon Brown; two sons, Daniel Strout and wife Bobbie and David Strout and wife Cindy; ten grandchildren, Matthew Strout, Jennifer Strout, Kimberly Sunday, Christine Goodrich, Carol Strout, Corey King, Andrew Strout, Casey Parker, Jessica Brown, and Lonnie Brown; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchild; along with many extended family and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Pearl (Worthington) Forbes and her husband William Strout.
A graveside service is Friday, September 11, 2020, 10:00 AM at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Timbo, Arkansas with her beloved family officiating.
Roller Crouch Funeral Homes are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines regarding the restrictions in accordance with COVID-19.
All attendees must provide and wear their own masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines that require individuals to stand at least six feet apart.
I was saddened to hear of Ms. Jean’s home going. She was a blessing to us with her cheerful heart and love for her Lord.
