Billy Clifton Curtis, 74, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at his son's home. He was born January 7, 1946 in Jonesboro to J.C. and Ludie (Bafford) Curtis.

He worked in construction and was of the Baptist faith. He served in the US Army and loved to fish, hunt and was an avid Outdoorsman.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, William Curtis.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Deborah (Green) Curtis; a son, Justin Curtis; two grandchildren, Zachary Curtis and Weslee Curtis; three brothers, Charles Curtis, Sammy Curtis and Robbie Curtis; and two sisters, Mary Swindle and Lavelle Scott.

No visitation is scheduled.

A graveside service will be 11 am Saturday at Pine Hill Cemetery with Randy Adams, Chaplain officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family request those in attendance to bring a single rose to the graveside service.
