William Neal Gray

of Marion, AR

October 20, 1937 - September 3, 2020

William Neal Gray of Memphis, Tennessee and Marion, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2020. He was born to William Roy Gray and Mary Estelle Spann Gray on October 20, 1937 in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Neal Gray was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of West Memphis, Arkansas. Over the years he sang in the church choir and went on several mission trips. He graduated with an architectural degree from the University of Arkansas.
Neal was known for his gentle spirit and the kindness of his heart for others. Even in hard times, he always had a smile on his face.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son, William David Gray.

Neal is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Carolyn Downing Gray; his daughter, Connie Woods (Billy); his grandchildren, Elise Woods, Lindsey Woods, Blake Gray, Cody Gray; and his great grandchild, Asher Gray.

Roller-Citizens Funeral Home will be following guidelines issued by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC regarding COVID-19. Social distancing of at least six feet must be practiced and all funeral attendees must provide and wear their own masks.

Lieu of flowers please make donations to First Baptist Church Architectural fund.

Sorry for your loss. I’m so glad God let our paths cross and I got to meet Mr Gray, Ms Carolyn and Ms Connie. It was my pleasure to be one of his caregivers. He was extremely talented architect and artist. May God give the family peace and comfort during these hard days.
