How we love Mrs Patsy! We first met in Bratislava, Slovakia where she was visiting her daughter (& our teammate) Susan. While at a church family retreat her love for people and animals was clearly visible. What a legacy she leaves behind in her girls. The good she has done in this life will surely follow her into eternity. I have been blessed to have known her and look forward to a heavenly reunion.

Mrs. Patsy, the mother of our dear friend, Susan Edmonds and her now deceased husband, Jim, supported us financially at times in our mission work in Argentina and as we readjusted in the USA after our return. We had never met but her support was important and encouraging to us. Our deepest sympathy to her family in her passing. We celebrate with you her life in Christ.

Patsy and I were in the same class at Harding College. Her father, T.E. Burch, asked her to find someone who would come to Wewoka and be his secretary at the Security State Bank. She asked me to come with her by train to interview for the job. That was the beginning of a ten year stay in Wewoka. My years there were a great experience and I made many good friends, including three little girls who lived down the street from me.
After ten years my sister graduated with her Phd from the University of Minnesota and we had always said that if we had not married we would get jobs in the same place and live together. One of the hardest things I ever did was to leave Wewoka and my boss and my 'little girls'. When I got outside of town I had to pull over and have a real good cry! The thought of Bro Burch crying when I left, and leaving my girls behind was just too much!
Patsy had married and was no longer living in Wewoka, but I saw her when they came on visits. She was a great friend of mine.
