Patrick Kenneth Stokes, 55, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 31, 2020 at Baptist Hospital. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on February 8, 1965 to Mary and Alexander Stokes. Patrick graduated from Catholic High School in 1983. He lived with juvenile diabetes from a very young age. In later years he developed complications from diabetes but tried to live life to the fullest. His children were the loves of his life and grandchildren the joys. He always had a helping hand for others. Patrick was the historian of the family and always had a story to tell. He was affectionately known as Boo-Boo.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Keely Stokes; son, Josh Stokes; daughter, Alexa Stokes; four grandchildren, Ethan Stokes; Sophia Mullins; Briana Womble; Drew Womble; sister, Lou Ann Cauthron (Jim); brother, David Stokes; nephews, Ryan Stokes; Sean Cauthron; and niece, Jessica Owens. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Michael Stokes.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the nurses at Davita Midtown and Baptist Hospital CCU for the loving care they showed Patrick.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30.
