Sandra Bass Duclos, 79, of Osceola, AR passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020. She was born on August 8, 1941 in Carlisle, AR to Fred Orlan Bass and Miriam Lois Norton. She was a Legal Secretary for Chuck Banks, Administrative Officer at the US Attorney's Office and a member of the Osceola First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and enjoyed traveling. Survivors include her son: Caje Duclos; daughter: Heather (Neil) Pierce; grandchildren: Morgan Duclos, Caydie Duclos, Preston Pierce and Abbey Pierce; sisters: Henrietta Norton Collins, Brenda (Jimmy) Norton Bricker and Sue Stone. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Russell James Duclos; brother: Doug Norton; sisters: Jessie "Rita" Bass Beardsley, Margaret Bass Cissell, Sara Sue Weaver and Lola Norton Travis.

To Caje and Heather and the grandchildren that she loved so dearly -- I'm so sorry for your loss. I was the system manager for Sandra when she was the Admin Officer for the U. S. Attorney's Office. Sandra was a pleasure to know and a pleasure to work with. I liked her a lot.
She was one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met! Such a precious friend!

Always so funny and happy! We kept in touch quite often checking on each other and my mom and her would talk about once a week catching up! We will definitely miss those talks with her, but I’m so thankful Krio to God that she didn’t suffer. My heat and prayers go out to all the family ðŸ™ðŸ»

Sandra was a kind and caring lady. I had the privilege of knowing her when we were with Department of Justice. She was always the consummate professional and a good friend to many.

I had the pleasure of working with Sandra for quite a few years while we both were with the Department of Justice. She always was so poised and professional, it was a pleasure to work with her. Although we lived in different states, when I would see her at conferences over the years, she was always so friendly and outgoing and always greeted everyone with her terrific smile.
