Dorothy East Webber

of Sherwood, AR

February 9, 1930 - August 21, 2020

North Little Rock, Arkansas

Dorothy East Webber, known to most as ''Dot'', passed away at the age of 90 on August 21, 2020. Born February 9, 1930 in Toccopola, Mississippi and one of six children, she spent her childhood years there and graduated from Toccopola High School where she starred on her high school basketball team.

Married to Harold ''Brother Hal'' Webber in 1953, they soon moved to Arkansas, eventually settling in Sherwood where she lived for over 50 years. Some of her happiest days were spent taking care of her two grandchildren when they were young, walking them to her house from their parents next door.

Dot will be remembered as a faithful and devoted servant of her Lord, a loving wife, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, and a much loved member of Brockington Road Church of the Nazerene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents Duff and Loudell East, her sisters Frances Plunk, Mannie Day, and Peggy Harris, and her brothers Odum East and Jack East.

Survivors include her daughter Paula Hibbs (Johnny) and her grandchildren, Shelby Hibbs of Dallas, TX and Brady Hibbs of Sherwood.

The family would like to thank the staff of Fox Ridge for their kindness and support.

Any memorials may be made to Brockington Road Church of the Nazerene.
