Harvey James ''Bud'' Cunningham III, 70, of Big Flat, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born on June 22, 1950 in Pasadena, California to the late Harvey James Cunningham, Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Curnutte) Cunningham. He was a faithful member of Big Flat Assembly of God Church in Big Flat, Arkansas where he lead song service, taught adult Sunday school, and did whatever was needed which was a testament to his strong faith. He was a man of God who proudly served his country in the United States Navy and worked in a shipyard and heating and air for many years. Bud never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. He will be greatly missed by all of his loving family and friends.

Bud is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Rosa L. (Britton) Cunningham of the home; two sons, Harvey James Cunningham IV and wife Terrie of Arizona and Timothy and wife Kim of North Carolina; two daughters, Stephanie Perkins and husband James of Arizona and Tammy Johnson and husband Kevin of California; one brother, Mike Cunningham of Nevada; three sisters, Daphanie Brock and husband Roger of California, Pat McClaine of Minnesota, and Judy Bergloff and husband Fred of California; ten grandchildren; sisters in law, Linda Connor of Arkansas and Pam and husband Billy of Arkansas; brothers-in-law, Ronald Britton and wife Terri of Arizona and Corbert Britton of Arkansas along with many many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey James Cunningham, Jr. and Margaret Elizabeth (Curnutte) Cunningham and his grandfather, Harvey James Cunningham, Sr. and uncle Byron Cunningham.

A memorial service honoring Bud's life will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2020, 1:00 PM at Big Flat Assembly of God Church in Big Flat, Arkansas with Brother Darin Holliman officiating.

Military honors will be rendered by the United States Navy Funeral Honors Team and the Stone County Honor Guard.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
