April 21, 1940 - August 18, 2020

Ann Dement, 80, of Bono, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born April 28, 1940 in Jonesboro to Pete and Maggie (Sims) Underwood.

Mrs. Dement retired from the Jonesboro Public School system. She was a member of New Hope Methodist and attended Shiloh Methodist Church.She loved to garden,camp and fish.

Mrs. Dement was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 53 years, William Dement; and two sisters, Frances Salmons and Lois Quinn.

Those left behind to cherish Ann's memory include her sons, Brian (Michelle) Dement and Rickey (Susie) Dement; grandchildren, Linda Fowler, Scott Dement, Jeremy Dement, Tysha Wilkinson, Franklin Kimble, Jeremy Kimble, Justin Kimble and Waylon Kimble; great-grandchildren, Lilly Ann Fowler, Brayden Kimble, Gavin Kimble, Ella Dement, Easton Dement and Brielle Ana Marie Trosper.

Visitation will begin at 12 :30 pm until time of service on Friday, August 21,2020.

Chapel services will be 2 pm Friday, August 21,2020 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home at 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro with Billy Vanderbilt and Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Bono, AR.

Jeremy Dement, Scott Dement, Marty Fowler, Gary (Buck) Bounds, Jim McLaughlin and Glen Gamble will serve as pallbearers.

Jim Pickle, Ray Neal Bounds, Glenn Crawford, Curtis Sharp and Russell Adams will serve as honorary pallbearers.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines.
All attendees must provide and wear masks upon entering and while in the building.
