Meredith Louise Hachtmeyer, 77, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020. She was born on August 16, 1943 in Logansport, Indiana to the late George Frances and "Dolly" Catherine Gipson.

Lou loved the Lord dearly and loved her church family. She was a very active member of the sign team at church. She loved witnessing to others, putting her heart into things like prison ministry. Lou was a prayer warrior and never left a soul uncovered. She enjoyed making art, especially with her oil paintings. Lou loved the outdoors and enjoyed her fishing. She also adored the beach and the time she spent enjoying it with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James L. Hachtmeyer; son, Troy Scarbrough (Amy); grandchildren, Megan, Lauren, and Jordan Scarbrough; and sister, Donita "Jo" Bawiec (Eddie)

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home from 6PM-8PM with a private burial at a later date.

A memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, August 29, at Crystal Hill Assembly of God in North Little Rock, at 2:00PM.

I'm so sorry for the loss the family is feeling including my cousins Rick and Chris Bawiec and of course Aunt Jo. As we all face these tough times in our life, we can rest assured that she is in the hands of our creator and no longer suffering. RIP Lou
