Donald Alan Young, 53, of Batesville passed on Sunday, August 16, 2020.
He was born on November 6, 1966 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Harold Moore Young and Doris Ann (Valentine) Young.
Donald loved his family and his time spent with his daughter, Carlee. He enjoyed watching Razorback football, fishing and hunting. He attended University of Arkansas Fayetteville and received his MBA at UALR. He worked for Entergy as a Mechanical Engineer.
Survivors include his father, Harold Young (Tommie Jean) of Cabot; his mother, Doris Ann Young of North Little Rock; his wife, Carissa (Blankenship) Young and his daughter, Carlee Young both of the home.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Ron Young.
A graveside memorial service will begin at 11:00 am Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Carl Blankenship officiating.
Memorials may be made in his honor to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas, 312 W. Pershing Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72114.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks and social distancing will be observed.
