Betty Louise Ross, age 88 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on August 13th, 2020 at her daughters home in Norfork. She was born in Clarendon, Arkansas on September 15th, 1931 to James A. Ward and Bessie Brewer Ward.
Betty loved attending church at Pine Grove. She walked to church for many years. She enjoyed hunting and fishing and Betty loved playing bingo.
Survivors include her children, Alvin (Lynda) Ross of Fairview, Brenda (Rick) Strasburg of Little Rock, Kathy Kirkendoll of Rogers, Rodger (Ann) Ross of Batesville, Kenneth (Gail) Ross of Truman, John David (Robin) Ross of Mustang, OK, Bobby (Kyung) Ross of Pinesville, Martha "Janie" (J.D.) Austin of Norfork, Marty Ross of Norfork and Lee Roy "Buster" (Cheryl) Ross of Marshall; eighteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Grace Ragan of Liberty, Marian Boyster of Liberty, Skip Ward of Clarendon, Carlton Ward of Danville, Raymond Ward of Oklahoma, Kenneth Ward of Clarendon and Howard Ward of Marshall; dear friends, Betty & Zeb Horton; and a host of other family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bessie Ward; her husband Lee Roy Ross who passed away in 2004; her daughter Linda Cronk; two sons, Allen Ross and Ronnie Ross; grandson, Anthony Dale Ross; and three brothers, Stanley Ward, Jimmy Ward and John Ward.
Graveside services for Betty will be 11:30 AM Monday, August 17th, 2020 at Grandview Cemetery near Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Robert Little officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 till 11:00 AM at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall preceding the service on Monday. Burial will follow the graveside service where Betty will be laid to rest beside her husband, Lee Roy. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Roller-Coffman Funeral Home is complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines for COVID-19 and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. We are practicing social distancing and have limited seating. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
