Emmett H. Brown, 87, of Marked Tree,AR passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center, in Jonesboro. Mr. Brown was born May 5, 1933, in Lepanto,AR to Mimie Melvina (Southard) and Harvey Emmett Brown.

Mr. Brown was a member of Marked Tree First Baptist Church and was a Farmer. He enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents; a son, Tony Brown; sisters, Joyce Lambert and Shirley Brown.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years, Jewell (Couey) Brown; son, Randy Brown; daughters, Patsy (Michael) Scott, Bonnie Nichols, and Shirley Huff; thirteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd Brown, Levi Brown, Charlie Brown, Tom Brown and Hoppy Brown; sisters Hazel Riley, Linda Redd and Ann King.

Visitation is at the church, Friday, August 14, 2020 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral Service will be at Marked Tree First Baptist Church, Saturday, August 15, at 2:00pm with Patrick Tucker officiating.

Pallbearers will be Scott Johnson, Matt Huff, Josh Brown, Anthony Brown, Mike Scott, Koby Brown, Baron Cahoon and Jordan Smith.

Burial follows at Nichols Cemetery at 3:00pm.

Roller-Farmers Union is in charge of arrangements.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance while observing social distancing guidelines.

All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
