Jefferson Tou Thao, 5, a resident of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020, in Fort Smith.
He was born July 12, 2015, in Fort Smith to Kao Yia Yang. Jefferson loved playing with dinosaurs and cars and enjoyed playing with his cousins.
Jefferson is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wang Ying Xiong.
Survivors include his mother, Kao Yia Yang of Fort Smith; a sister, Jennifer Thao of Fort Smith and maternal grandmother, Chia Lee of Fort Smith.
The funeral service will begin at 7:00 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2020, at the North Logan County Fairgrounds in Paris. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Ozark on Saturday afternoon under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
