Richard "Ricky" Garofalo

of Benton, AR

June 15, 1969 - July 27, 2020

Richard Kinsey ''Ricky'' Garofalo, 51, of Benton, passed away peacefully into the arms of his Savior on Monday, July 27, 2020. He was born June 15, 1969 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Richard Linkenhoker and Pamela Sue Kinsey Garofalo, and was raised by Joseph and Pam Garofalo.

Ricky was a family man who loved his wife, children, and friends from his childhood and was the ''glue'' that held those distant friendships close. Very devoting of his time, you could find him watching his kids play sports or doing various activities with them, as Kinsey was privileged to attend her very first concert with her dad. He was always excited to take a long-awaited Disney World trip and rarely missed an opportunity to take part in the fun attractions. Ricky was a good friend and someone to depend on, as he would usually be the first to jump up and offer help to anyone who needed it. He will be missed but his memory will be cherished and his legacy will continue on through those who loved and cared for him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Garofalo.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Aimee Nelson Garofalo; children, Kinsey Jeanne Garofalo and Joshua Lee Garofalo; his sister, Suzanne Fedullo and her husband. Chris; his mother, Pamela Garofalo, and many other extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be Friday, July 31, 2020 beginning at 2:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Benton, 200 N. Market Street, Benton. The service will be livestreamed on the church's YouTube Channel for those who prefer to attend virtually, https://www.youtube.com/user/BentonFUMC

Rick was a beautifully kind person. We met at Target over 10 years ago and every time I saw him he made it feel like family. His amazing soul will never be forgotten.
