of Bruno, AR

November 3, 1932 - July 15, 2020

Lola "Dee" Gray of Bruno, Arkansas age 87, passed away Wednesday July 15, 2020 in the care of Twin Lakes Nursing and Rehab Center in Flippin.

Dee was born at home November 3, 1932 to the late Ben and Vertle Davis. As a child she attended Pea Ridge School, Marion County, and later Bruno School where she met Grady They were married September 3, 1950 at Cotter, Arkansas. They were married and worked together for 50 years. Dee worked at different jobs through the years to help support the family. Working at two different clothing factories, a shoe store, served as a nurse's aid at the hospital, a tour guide, and milking cows at the family dairy Dee and Grady worked as a team together on the farm raising a family, serving in the community, and were always ready to help neighbors in need.

Dee was very outgoing and enjoyed gardening, riding horses, and being with her family and especially her four grandsons. She was always ready to go to the kitchen and prepare a big meal for family or anyone who happened to be there. Dee attended First Baptist Church in Yellville.

Dee was preceded in death by her husband, and her parents.

She is survived by sisters: Betty Osborn and Jean Stephenson of Conway, Arkansas; and brother David Davis and his wife, Janice, of Bruno, Arkansas; her son Terry (Melissa) Gray of Bruno, Arkansas; her daughter Karen (Bert) Benton of Flippin, Arkansas; grandsons: Seth (Andrea) Gray of Cotter, Arkansas; Brett (Katy) Gray of Ridgedale, Missouri; Daniel (Stephanie) Benton of Harrison, Arkansas; Jeff (Gwen) Benton of Flippin, Arkansas; great-grandsons: Landyn Gray, Grady Benton, Garon Benton, Grayson Benton, Luke Benton, Evan Benton, and a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Bruno Cemetery in Bruno, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Pyron officiating.
