Wayne Clifton, 72, of Osceola, AR passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020. Born March 19, 1948 in Potts Camp, MS to James Edward and Vola Jessmer Clifton.
He was of the Baptist Faith and a retired employee of Southwire and The City of Osceola. He was an avid deer and turkey hunter and a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Rivercrest Colts.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Laura Sue Clifton; his parents; daughter: Lisa Clifton and sister: Elaine Welch.
Survivors include his son: Michael Easter; daughters: Jesamen 'JD' Clifton and Dianna (Marty) Johnson; grandsons: Dylan (Shelby) Johnson and Garrett (Becca) Johnson; great-grandson: James Garrett Johnson; sisters: Glenda Willemse, Gail Thrasher, Shirley Denton and Diane Thrasher; brothers: Melton Clifton, Don Clifton and Freddy Clifton and his beloved dog Levi.
Visitation will be as follows at Roller-Swift Funeral Home, Sunday, July 5, 2020: private family only at 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, public visitation at 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and private family only at 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
A Graveside Service will be held at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola, AR at 2:30 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2020.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 100 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

Deepest Condolences. Worked with him for many years. Hands down he was the hardest worker the City of Osceola had. He will be greatly missed. Rest up Wayne!
