I have many fond memories of this wonderful man preaching when I attended Bible school in the summers. He along with so many others made Bible school the most enjoyable part of my summers. I remember not being able to wait until it was time to have it. I would see him and Edna in the store and keep thinking man they look familiar. They would both glance at me in passing too but I don't think either of us could remember where we knew the other from. I regret so much not stopping and asking if I knew them from somewhere. Ora was a wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I have fond memories of boarding at Ora and Edna Mae's place when I taught school at Happy Hollow many years ago. To the family of Ora: May Jesus be your Comfort as you mourn the loss of your husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather.

It was always a treasure to get to visit with Mr. Ora when he stopped by West 66. He will be missed but we know he is home now and resting with the lord.

This loss is felt so keenly in our family for we have been truly blessed to know this godly man. His love for God and man was certainly evident.

I will remember meeting him at the post office when he took a stack of Bible tracts for a mass mailing. I remember thinking how much I appreciated him sharing God’s love with others. His work with the children at VBS has planted many seeds, the fruits of which he will see in heaven someday. His gentleness with the children and a ready smile at their antics I still see in my mind.

I am thankful that I had a long chat with him in a Walmart aisle just a couple of weeks ago. He shared many words of wisdom which included healthy living, trusting in God and doing the right thing.

As large as this loss is to us, I can’t imagine how huge of a hole is left in the lives of family and close friends. But the wonderful and blessed hope we have is that we will see him again walking on those golden streets. Hugs.

Mr. Mast was a kind, talented and wonderful man. He and his church were such a HUGE part of my childhood. They welcomed me in and truly loved me and cared about me. He picked me up for bible school every summer and would then take me home afterward. I have so great memories and was so fortunate to have had the privilege to know him. He was a truly Godly man who loved and cared about others. I loved him and his family just like my own. Even as an adult, he recognized me and spoke with me when I saw him. The world lost a wonderful man but Heaven gained an incredible angel. Thank you Mr. Mast for making a difference in my life, you will be missed by everyone.

Your legacy will never be forgotten. You taught me a lot about Jesus and life. Our chats we had, when I was there to buy milk, will always be very sweetly remembered and valued for the rest of my life. Kacie and I love you always.
