Rebecca Brown Yoder

of Shirley, AR

May 21, 1948 - June 23, 2020

Rebecca "Brown" Yoder was born on May 21, 1948 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Ebner and Lois. She passed away on June 23, 2020 of cardiac arrest in her sleep at home.

The family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of for better medical care for her father. Rebecca was an accomplished athlete; she had the fastest track time in school. She had a passion for piano and was offered a chance to go to Julliard. She chose instead to become a nurse. She decided to become a doctor after several years of nursing. In 1985, she gave up her medical practice to become a teacher and a servant of God. Rebecca's first book was published in 1986. That led her into worldwide ministry. She has traveled extensively across continents to teach people about spiritual warfare. The Lord revealed many mysteries to her so she could teach it to His people. Rebecca has written 15 books and booklets, 5 of them were co-written with her husband, Daniel. Rebecca also recorded a set of teaching CDs. Over the years, her books have been translated into more than 20 languages.

Rebecca and Daniel met in Arizona on November 7, 1989 and were married on December 10, 1989. They moved to the Clinton, Arkansas area in 1992 and made it their home. Rebecca had a special love for animals and the country life. She raised cattle and chickens; each one had a name. Rebecca and Daniel moved to Shirley, Arkansas in 1996. They developed the property into Shiloh Valley Ranch over the course of the next four years. Rebecca wanted to spend her last days here in the valley. Her greatest wish was to be buried in the valley.

Rebecca leaves behind her husband, Daniel and many friends around the world who are mourning her loss. She poured out her life as a sacrifice to the Lord. She finished the race well. She would tell each of us to do the same and remember that someday, we will see her again and be together for eternity.

Visitation is Tuesday, June 30, 2020, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00pm., at Roller - McNutt Funeral Home - Clinton. Interment will follow at Settlement Cemetery in Shirley, Arkansas.

We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 66 percent of facility capacity at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.

A friend told me about this book she was reading and said I should read it... He Came To Set The Captives Free. I didn't wait for her to loan me her copy, bought it and was finished with it in a day. I couldn't put it down. It was confirmation to a lot of things I have been seeing. Reading her book is a strong remember to stay in the presence of God, never losing focus and to keep on fighting the good fight.
My sincere condolences to her family.
I am unto her second book and just had a delivery of another.

I stumbled across the book Becoming a Vessel of Honor by Rebecca Brown,MD at a local library sale in Cape Town, South Africa. I read it so fast as it was hard to put it down because of the fascinating information it contained particularly about the 'craft' aka dark occult or satanism. Being an ex member of the craft, she gives the insight into the workings of the devil and those who serve him. She chose to reject evil and serve God/Jesus Christ. What an inspiration. Her dedication to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, and her conviction about serving God in this book, really boosted by stagnating walk as a Christian. It also helped me during a time when I was grappling with shocking information about certain churches who have been infiltrated by the dark forces. She explains in this book how it works, and it helped me to understand and to learn that not everything that appears as light, is light and also to continue to be strong in the walk with Christ despite the disturbing knowledge. I think every Christian should read at least one of all of her books in order to understand the reality of our existence and how the dark forces infiltrate our society. I too like many people on this platform, went online to search her out, only to learned she is now with Jesus in heaven. Thank you Rebecca, your books continue to live on and serve God as you had in person. May you rest well in paradise!

I ordered Dr Brown’s book that I’d so often heard changed people’ slices. Im halfway through “ He Came to Set the Captive’s Free” and googled her name in hopes of finding a conference or workshop that she could be giving when I discovered she’s no longer with us. Im deeply saddened to hear of her passing and reminded once again to draw as near to the Lord as possible bc tomorrow isn’t promised and there’s nothing more important than our Father God, our Lord and Savior.
My deepest condolences to her husband and family

I had a copy back in the late 90's and loaned it to someone and never received it back. To God be the Glory . I'm saddened at Mrs. Yoder's passing. Her books helped me so very much to understand and deal with what was going on in my own life due to generational Free Masonry. I'm grateful to the Lord and to Mrs. Yoder and her husband for the time, effort, and harassment that they've surely been through for making information available to the Body of Christ that so many pastors are afraid to even contemplate much less deal with. Thank you, Mr. Yoder for helping Rebecca bring this essential information to the Army of the Lord, many of whom who didn't know what to do or how to do it when faced with demonic oppression or how to recognize it as such.

May the Lord God continue to bless and comfort Dr. Brown's family and friends as they continue to serve the Lord here on earth in her absence.

I read Dr. Brown's book, "He came to set the captives free." I had no idea before reading the book that I was one of the captives. Dr. Brown's book opened my eyes, for I was blind and did not know I was blind. So many years in bondage, with no understanding or knowledge of how to get out of it. Dr. Brown's book helped set me free.

I want to thank Dr. Brown's family and friends for their love and support of this strong woman of faith in the Lord. God bless you.

I was looking for a book in my library and came across Rebecca's books (I have 6 of them), I wondered where she is now as I don't hear of her much in recent years so I went to google. I was saddened to see she has gone home to be with the Lord. Her book "He came to set the captives free" was my first introduction to spiritual warfare. This book saved my life. The enemy was attacking me so badly because I had unknowingly married a man who I thought was a believer but who was in the occult. I had to learn warfare fast to save myself and my two children. Rebecca run the race, she finished her course. A crown of glory is no doubt waiting for her in heaven. My belated condolences to her dear husband. and family.

Yesterday when I Google more books of yours, Rebecca I discovered that you passed away. I grieved very much cause even if I didn't meet you, yet I felt that she is my soul mate; cause she made a turnning point in my life -although I was a christian, yet she taught me how to fight the spiritual warfare and be a strong warrior in christ. I bought 5 of her books and used them a lot in my ministry to the
ladies. You can't believe the battles I went through because I bought her books. Many use black magic against us from relatives yet God protected me from death many times, even last year I made a brain tumour operation, thank God it was benine. When I re read your books every time I learn more new things. Your books are a great blessing to mankind. I never felt the power of the anointing of the holy spirit as in your books Rebecca. I wish REBECCA THAT YOU LIVED LONGER TO WRITE MORE BOOKS FOR US. I know you are happy with our savior now.
For you Daniel Yoder a special greetings and condolences from me. I read about your childhood and how much you bore from torture, from satanists and evil spirits attacks, moving from one place to another to save your lives, you and Rebecca. To God be the glory who protected you and she died normaly.

I'm so sorry hear our sister Dr. Rebecca brown, depart already 3 years ago (2020) , because until now (oct 2022) notice she left to be with our father and savior Jesus Christ! I read her book, around the 1989, when I was 22 years old " He Came to Set the Captives Free" it was one of my favorite ever book. long ago when I was in the mission work in central America countries I found many people set free when I could apply the knowledge learn by Dr. Brown! I could detect evil spirits that keep people bound in their life and see how wonderfully become free, and since then, their still serving Jesus ! I just want to say thank you , Dr. Rebecca Brown, rest in the peace of our savior !

Dr Brown's book was recommended to me when I came back to the Lord and was embroiled in the fight of my life to extract myself from the grip of New Age witchcraft. Her book, He Came to Set the Captives Free, was significant in my deliverance and I continue to recommend it to others, to this day. Her real-life accounts of spiritual warfare strengthened me and encouraged me to fight and get free of witchcraft. I am so thankful that she wrote her books. I am free today and help others. I fondly remember "that book" which I read so many years ago, and opened my eyes to the realistic fight that I had before me, and encouraged me to stand my ground against the enemy and become free!

I am sad at this news. But grateful to GOD for blessing my generation with a mighty woman of GOD like Rebecca. Her books helped to establish me as a child of GOD and to make sense of the experiences I was having in the 90s.

Thank you Jesus Christ for keeping your daughter to the end.

My sister, you've joined the Church in Heaven and we will hold the fort by His grace and shall be united again by the Holy Spirit whether here and/or the hereafter. In Jesus' name.

Brother Daniel, thank you for supporting her till the end. You're a model to many us men. The LORD will continue to strengthen you. In Jesus' name. Amen

I am deeply grateful for two of your books which I have read.

These books brought a lot of revelation and understanding, as to the true nature of Spiritual Warfare and why things didn’t make sense in the church we were attending at the time, and also, on a global scale how a Christian can be a prime target when they are caught up in the Holy Spirit with deep intercessions for the nations.

A lot of truths were imparted in bringing soundness to my understanding in the midst of confusion. Too much to write here, but it was of great impact overall.

The Lord allowed me to experience the Awareness of riding in His Chariot on a Devine mission, when I went to buy “ He came to set the Captives Free” and sent it to a man with whom I had had a brief but heavy encounter with the Witchcraft, he walked heavily in at that time. Who knows how many others were set free and lives were affected by that man reading and possible sharing that book or relaying the info. I have a strong sense it was a far reaching encounter where God would affect many lives in coming out of darkness.

Much comfort and strong assurance continue to be imparted into the lives of immediate family and friends who have felt the loss of this very needful light in as darkness was seeking to completely encroach and overtake the US and other parts of the world.

I have just now read the notice. It was many years ago that I read Rebecca's books and was greatly encouraged by her writing. In fact it is only now that I feel prompted to re-read them. The thought earlier today occurred to me 'He that is not for you , may be against you.' Of course many may be totally oblivious and uncaring about our lives but , if in doubt, find out. Rebecca's books give us that opportunity. I remember her as a writer of obvious experience and integrity. Belatedly then, I add my condolences to those who were close to and loved her in life and pray that you share God's Blessings .

Rebecca's books have truly given me so much vital information on her knowledge that God showed her. LOVED all of her books. I am sorry she has gone from our world already but yet she is rejoicing in heaven for all the things she went through down here on earth. I realize it must be very hard on Daniel missing her companionship yet I know God is walking with Daniel also. Be blessed Daniel....and her books will continue to provide others with the vital information she provided through the Lord.

My coldolences to Rebecca's husband, family and friends.
I bought her book "Prepare For War" many years ago, but I did not read it as I feel it is not the time to read it. I basically start to read the book yesterday (19/02/2022) and asked the Holy Spirit of God to help me to understand the content (my mother tongue is Afrikaans) of the book.
Today I start with chapter 3, but first I google REBECCA to see a bit more information of her. I see she is born in 1948, same as my mother, and I also read of her passing in 23 June 2020. I'm very sad to hear this, but I know she is with our heavenly Father.
Thank you that God work through Rebecca to write this book so many years ago in 1987. I was only 19 years old then, and basically now nothing about spiritual warfare - know I'm 53 years old and with the grace of our Lord is learning / training.

God is working with everyone on His time - than you Father.

I understand the spiritual battle a lot better and I am ready to fight. I'm going to start Chapter 1 of Prepare for War. Looking forward to being enlightened again and challenged to fight.
As I sat down to read the book I wondered whether Rebecca was still alive and that's how I found out she had passed.

Rebecca has served well. Let us do the same.

I read her book a long time ago, where last I saw she was having trouble with authorities that were interlaced with the occult. Where the occult is huge. I mean huge, few realize the underground. Nationwide and worldwide.
If these suddenly surfaced revealing themselves, Christians would be in dismay.
I always would have liked to meet her. I'd like to know what happened to Elaine, I think it was, the young girl raised by witches.
She evidently fought the good fight.
I'm Orthodox, where I'm curious if she'd make sainthood. But, everyone should pray for her soul. Very much as you'd like have done for ourselves.

I'm so sorry to hear about her passing. But know that you are with the Lord. I have read three books of hers. years ago.I was involved in the occult and finally got saved in 2001. Boy,Satan put me through heavy warfare after and my pastor suggested that I get He came to set the captives free. The warfare just got worse. I was a new Christian and I got into spiritual battle until I moved in with my boyfriend at a house where out in the country satanic practice had been done. I not only was in sin but the battle worsened. I thought it was because of the books and through them out. I fault the fight for 7 years and divorced him.I know the Lord put me on my own for 5 years now and am still in battle. I have just ordered 4 books and am finding out that the books are for such a time as this. The Lord will never give up on you. I had some questions for Rebecca and found she went to be with the Lord. I am still learning and know that it will be for the rest of my life at this time. David may God bless you and your family and may Rebecca's and your legacy go on and set the captives free.

My condolences to the family and friends of Rebecca. She fought a good fight, she finished the course, and kept the faith. A crown of righteousness has been given to her. Our consolation is in the book of John 11:25-26 "---------Jesus said to her " I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live"
Her book on "Unbroken Curses", was introduced to me a christian sister when I was going through difficult times in my life. I still refer to the book from time to time. It is true, many christian are f due to lack of knowledge about curses, satan, spiritual warfare, demons and so on.
I was curiously browsing this morning to find if she and her husband wrote more books, only to discover she had gone to be with the Lord last year.

Mr. Jack Chick referred me to Rebecca regarding publishing her 3rd book, Vessel of Honor, because I owned a small publishing company, Solid Rock Books. Although the spiritual warfare was horrific the Lord provided success and got her message to the world. We later released the book to Whitaker House publishers.

I greatly Rebecca, her as many others do. Spending some time with Rebecca and Daniel was very enlightening.

What can I say So sad to hear of Rebecca’s passing. Coming from a generation of physic readers, my mom was saved when I was about 8 years old. When I turned 16 I came across “He Came to Set the Captives Free.” That book changed my life and the life of my family. That was over 25 years ago and we have taught people about deliverance and have received deliverance. Such a power and anointing on her book. She is in heaven now and her the ministry given her by the Lord is still opening peoples eyes, destroying the powers of darkness and setting people free.

I saw the way my late aunt was reading different books by Rebecca brown and how she had different kinds of Rebecca’s books in her library. I suddenly had an interest in the books. I borrowed the first book ‘He came to set the captives free’. I found out that l could not put the book down. I finished the book with 3 days, came back to my aunt’s house and borrowed the other 3 books. The books opened my eyes and mind and gave me FULL understanding about the spirit world. I find myself mentioning Rebecca’s name anytime l want to make a reference to the things of the spirit.
Oh what a loss. Heaven has gained a soul. My sincere condolence goes out to Daniel her husband and her entire family. May God Almighty grant them comfort. I just ran across her book that I read while serving cocktails here in Vegas, in the early 90s. How I even ran across it is beyond me. But for one I could not put it down & would pick it up & read it between serving drinks & on my way driving to the casino at a light. We all hear about Satanism & especially back then it wasn’t truly spoken about therefore we truly never knew just how prevalent & WICKED they truly are here in the USA! When we hear of such things we think it’s in Africa where there are witch Drs ., but that’s what Satan wants us to believe! We as children of the light need to stand strong , wake up & come against the enemy together ! How ppl can become so WICKED is beyond my comprehension!! The question I guess would be why would anyone want to be The Dr. opened my eyes to a world I did not know truly existed only in movies. Her book awakened me & also proves to us, GODS CHILDREN , HE ALWAYS LISTENS & is always there to intervene & nothing can stand up against the pure blood of JESUS! I hope she truly knew just HOW many lives she touched! I’m so saddened she is gone but she is young & youthful & with JESUS !! She just has the best address any of us have & all strive to have one day!!

You fought the good fight for Jesus. You went through things many of us have not yet gone through and you faithfully obeyed Jesus. I have only met you through the words in your books but you are like a much loved aunt to me. RIP and ill be looking for you when i get there.

It is sad there are few ministries doing what you did and the Church is asleep. Thank you for being a key part of the real liberation struggle

Recently said to myself that I should send a token tithe to Sis Rebecca for how the Lord, thro her books taught and helped me obey our Lord Jesus: "to love our enemies, do good to those who persecute us" She practised it. It really made such a deep impression in me that today's common prayer of "return to sender" I find totally obnoxious.
This evening I decided to get in touch & fulfill my decision to honor her only to read she'd gone to glory
Really shocked but thankful to God for His vessel of honor now in eternal worship
Daniel and the rest of the family, my condolences and the comfort of the Lord Holy Spirit unto you all in the name of our resurrected ascended glorified Lord Jesus the Christ.
Shalom.

I first bought and read her book, UNBROKEN CURSES, some years back, which I unfortunately lost to an unknown borrower. The book was so revealing that I had to get another copy, which I just finished reading.
The intriguing revelations contained in the book tell the story of a woman highly favoured and used by God to liberate destinies from satanic captivity and onslaught.
The Holy Spirit just moved me to get her contact address in order to discuss some personal matters with her, only to find out that she had passed on to glory to be with the Lord on 23rd June, 2020.
I never got to meet her in person, but the wealth of knowledge and exploits as revealed in her book certainly tell the story of a gallant soldier!
It is obvious the world has just lost a great soldier of the cross. Oh that the good Lord will graciously raise for us another REBECCA BROWN at this time that the devil seems to be holding sway all over the world! Adieu Rebecca!
My sincere condolence to Daniel Yoder, for the loss of a friend, a wife and fellow combatant!

I was actually looking for the author in hopes to meet her, but I see now that she was called to her heavenly home to be with the Lord. God bless her for dedicating her entire life to ministry. I will be reading the rest of her books and passing them along to friends and loved ones in order to allow her legacy of spreading truth to continue to live on. I thank God for our sister's life and pray that the Lord will comfort her family here on earth.

Deepest CONDOLENCES to the family. I attended REBECCA and Herb husband conference in SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS The LORD used a clerk salesman in a RADIO SHACK, during CHRISTMAS SEASON to not leave the store without talking to ME, the LORD SPOKE TO HIM TO INFORM ME , that REBECCA BROWN was in town. When I had read REBECCA BOOKS WHICH HELPED ME WITH TONS OF TRIALS to resolve. I asked GOD that whenever DR. Rebecca would come to San Antonio to bring it to my attention. Well unexpectedly, HE DID. For A WHOLE WEEK, me and my sister attended that miraculous meeting, we absorb so much, bought all her books, and have been able to share and helped other to reach others in understanding why deliverance is a high priority important to accomplish GOD’S purpose to set the captivie FREE from captivity. I have loved reading Rebecca Brown's book since I picked up "He came to set the captives free" at a very young age in my dad's library.

I own three of her books but the last one I purchased was "Unbroken Curses". I have read the book several years back after the purchase. However, I picked it up again two weeks ago because I needed answers to why I constantly come across a variety of adverse circumstances in life. I have been a Christian for many years. I read the book with more attention to the details while taking the practical steps outlined in the book to break curses that may be in my life.

As I approached the last chapter of the book, I felt an strong need to connect with Rebecca Brown and searched for her online. I had even earlier searched her out on Instagram and followed her.

I even read online what some of her critics wrote. However, having experienced first hand spiritual attacks, nightmares and demonic oppressions, I can relate directly to her teachings and narratives. I also know that when you try to relate the story to other Christians who have no such experience, they cannot believe you. They also doubt your mental wellness. The day after picking up the book again, a close acquaintance told me of how a family member was experiencing hallucinations and how they have been managing him with drugs. I told the acquaintance clearly that the weren't hallucinations. The experiences were real! I had been there before.

You can now imagine my devastation to learn that she had passed on ALREADY! It pains me to connect too late but I am glad that you fought a good fight of faith in the lives of many Christians and you are still fighting it after you are gone. (I am a living witness!)

Rest in Peace Gallant Soldier of God.

I read her book “He came to set the captives free,” when I was 15 years old. My life changed after reading that book. I was more aware of the spiritual warfare I was facing. My firstborn son Han was stillborn October 6, 2019. I take comfort knowing sister Rebecca will be greeted by Han and they will finally know the beauty and the peace of our Savior’s love forever. Her legacy will live on. Though she is gone from this world, she is finally home with our Father in Heaven. One day I’ll get to hug my sister in Christ and tell her thank you for her courageous service to the Lord. It’s because of her dedication that I learned that I could teach my baby about the Lord in my belly through prayer and reading scriptures. It’s how I know my son loves our Lord with all his heart and soul, and he’s exactly where he wants to be....In paradise with sister Rebecca.

Peace be with the Brown and Yoder families.

“May the force ( the Lord) be with you. Always.”

I thank the Lord for her books that have taught me so much to get closer to the Him and to fight in spiritual war everday of my life. She has teached us what a true Christians life is. Its not only serving the Lord our God its about the fight we have with satan everyday of our lives until we go to Heaven. I thank God that I bought her books and learned a lot from her. Thank you Jesus for teachimg her and letting her teach us. This is exactly how she looks in Heaven, so beautiful. When I get there I will thank her personally.

What an incredible life she lived. Reading Rebecca 's books was like having a friend and mentor with you teaching you the treasures she gained as she walked with the Lord. ONLY ONE LIFE WILL SOON BE PASSED, ONLY WHAT'S DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST. Rebecca has left a lasting mark in the world and with so many precious souls. God bless you Daniel as you carry on in who God made you to be For His Name's Sake and For His Glory!

I just thank God for Rebecca... I have and read Her books... They are amazing... It was her experiences and her books that propelled me with the strength I have now to come against our adversary! I've never met her, but it felt as if I knew her through her writings...A great loss for us, But a huge gain for heaven as she came home for good... I can't wait to meet that wonderful sister there at our permanent home with Heavenly Father...Blessings; ❤🙏🙏❤...

I loved Rebecca very much. The Lord put her on my heart to support her through prayers and financially which I have done for 20 years. She was my dearest friend in Christ Jesus and she helped me many times through her knowledge of spiritual warfare. God bless you Rev. Daniel as you carry on with Harvest Warriors and I will do my best to keep on supporting this worthy ministry. Love to all my Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus. Please pray for me as my days are numbered because of poor chronic health problems.

Not only was she the greatest blessing in your life, you were also the greatest blessing and love ❤️ in her life here on earth. God chose you to marry her. I never really liked my name, but some months ago I discovered that my mother gave me this one because of Rebecca Brown Yoder. Since this day, I really appreciate my name, cause I listened the Lord calling me to spiritual war, and to set the captives free, as Rebecca did. I am learning so much with her and with you, Daniel, in the books that my mother has. So thankful for the life of Rebecca and so of yours, Daniel. May god be your strength and anointing to keep the ministry alive. Love your life, and I know God also does. Let’s keep our call until our Lord Jesus comes! Amen!

I want to pay tribute to one of the most spiritually influential people in my life. Yahweh brought her into our lives at such a perfect time. He used her ministry so powerfully in our lives and ministry. What a bright light she was no matter the depths of persecution she endured to be so.
Rebecca and Daniel, you are such faithful servants of the Most High, incredible teachers, and you have been such a useful tool in his hand
😭We love you and will miss you! What a loss on this side of heaven. But we know you are where you always wanted to be. Lechiam!

My dream is to grow spiritually and become a great woman of God like our beloved sister Rebecca was; I never had the opportunity to see her or met her but with her anointed teachings she taught me to entrust God’s Word and His faithfulness to make a way for me when it’s seem there’s not way. Her relationship with her Lord was her testimony and her fortress where she constantly proved to the world her calling and Lordship of the Son of God in her life. and thank you too for the man of God, prophet Daniel Yoder whom without his love and support Rebecca wouldn’t have done this many achievements in the Lord’s kingdom. Strength and courage Man of God, your God has everything under control, he has a plan the best is yet to come.

Please accept our most sincere condolences. Although I did not know Dr. Brown personally (I was fortunate to see her in NY in 2007), she had perhaps the greatest impact on my life. I am born again because of her book, "Prepare for War". My life is on its current trajectory because of her faithfulness and commitment to her calling. The sadness I feel cannot be compared to that of her loved ones, but I feel as though I have lost a very dear friend. May Jesus comfort and strengthen you; may you find comfort in knowing she's finally seeing Him face-to-face. She has indeed heard the sweetest words: "Well done, good and faithful servant."
