Stanley Wade Gibson passed away peacefully from this life on June 18, 2020 in Yellville, Arkansas at the age of sixty-seven. Wade was born July 27, 1952 to the late Leon and Fannie (Barnett) Gibson in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Wade served our county in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1973 with deployments to Vietnam as an aviation mechanic. He loved his country, his family, and Harleys. Wade was an exceptional Harley mechanic always willing to help anyone work on their bike. He was a founding member of the North Arkansas Motorcycle Association (Association MC) in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Wade worked in skilled trades, as a machinist, most of his life before retiring in 2015.
He is survived by his two sons: Skylor (Megan) Gibson, and Silas (Jennifer) Gibson; two grandsons: Lucas and Brody, along with his children's mother, Kathy Rogers, all of Yellville, Arkansas; one sister Linda (Charles) Honeycutt; of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Scott (Sheree) Gibson of Finksburg, Maryland; and Skip Gibson of Tampa, Florida; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Wade will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at the Cash Cemetery in Cash, Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
