Thomas E Burns passed on to his heavenly father on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at his home in West Memphis.
Mr. Burns (Tommy) retired from Entergy in 1997 after a 32 year career. He then moved back to West Memphis and purchased Delta Ice in 1998, which he owned and operated until May 1, 2010.
He was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in West Memphis.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Sue Treece Burns, his 4 children Jerry (Kelli) of West Memphis, Robin (Howard Mitchell) of Russellville, David of Memphis, TN, and Marie Head of West Memphis; his brother Phil Burns (Pat) of West Memphis, Arkansas. He also leaves 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the family will be holding a limited memorial gathering at the United Methodist Church in West Memphis on 6/16/2020.

I am so sorry to hear of Tommy’s passing. He was a good man and a good friend, and is going to be missed by a lot of people. The Lord has a new member in the choir with a great voice. My thoughts and prayers are with y’all Sue. Love all of you.
